I bought it for the 360 because the wifey wanted to play it, I just might pick it up for the PS3 because it needs a good D-pad!!
sweet game though, I put it up there with Hexus and Lumines.
I agree the L1 R1 should be a standard option for triggers. It feels more natural to shoot with my index fingers in their normal position(top of the controller) than trying to move them downwards, I sometimes even catch myself using my ring finger to get the job done only because it feels more comfortable for certain games.

I think we've already seen what "ground breaking" is on the PSP, people who thought it would be any different than that were setting themselves up for disappointment.
Not being negative here but come on it's been 5 years now and it's the same portable that it was back then. That doesn't mean that it can't be one of the best hand held racers out there though.
I remember about 2 years ago Sony put out a statement saying that 3rd party exclusives are a thing of the past and they would much rather put effort into their own game development. People laughed and Kotaku probably did some lame article describing how this is damage control for games going multiplatform.
2 years later and here we are. I find it funny that some people/corporations are able to see the future at a different angle the ones falling into the "here and now" ...
in other words...
if you keep putting out overly priced plastic toys and give us nothing more than a rehash of the "been there, done that" people WILL get board of you. When I say people I mean the ones your trying to milk.
